Sessions are available in-person, online, by phone, or via secure messaging—whatever suits your comfort and lifestyle. Whether you’re ready to dive in or just testing the waters, I’m here to support your next step forward.
I’m a therapist who is ultimately trying to work myself out of a job. Therapy is not meant to last forever. It is here to support you through the stage of life you are in, whether that is anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, or feeling stuck. Working with me often feels a bit like a sitcom. There is an overarching storyline, but each session can stand on its own, so even if life gets busy, you leave with something practical and useful. I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC), and Certified Financial Counsellor (CFC) based in Calgary, though I deliver counselling services across Canada. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve supported individuals and couples through a wide range of challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, grief, identity development, parenting, and major life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My approach blends depth and action. I draw from psychodynamic therapy to explore patterns and root experiences, and integrate tools from CBT, DBT, and solution focused therapy to help create meaningful change. With couples, I use the Gottman Method and Relational Life Therapy, taking a balanced approach that helps both partners feel seen, heard, and better equipped to connect outside of sessions. Life can feel really hard sometimes. In my own life, and in sitting with hundreds of other people, I have seen how small changes can have a big impact. Learning how to manage emotions, communicate more clearly, or make sense of a new diagnosis can ease pressure on relationships, work, and daily life. That belief sits at the heart of my why. We all deserve a life we love. hi, I’m Suzie
